The Morning Of

On a sunny fall Sunday, on September 8th, Haley & Enma tied the knot. With a love story straight out of a rom-com, Haley met Enma at a bar after her date was late. Enma was the bartender. They started chatting and hit it off immediately. Fast forward a few year, and they are pronounced Mr & Mrs. Paniagua. Haley & Enma decided to have their wedding in Yorktown, at their family home, overlooking the York River. The sunlight reflected off the water and was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding.

Haley got ready in the house, while Enma and his groomsmen go ready at a house nearby. Haley had special gifts for her mother, grandmother, sister and mother in law.

Afterwards, they opted for a “first shot” to ease the nerves. She also had a first look with her father.

The Ceremony

The long awaited moment has finally arrived. The guests stand as Haley walks down the aisle to “Young & Beautiful”. Enma starts to cry before she even walks down the aisle. The ceremony begins with their vows, in both English & Spanish, so both sides of the family could understand. After their vows, they are pronounced husband and wife.

The Portraits

While guests enjoyed their cocktail hour, we began family portraits overlooking the York River. Finally, we drifted down to the docks for some sunset couple portraits.

The Reception

After cocktail hour, guests headed into the reception space for first dance & speeches. Haley & Enma dance a sweet bachata as their first dance. Haley has her first dance with her father to “Butterfly Kisses” and Enma shares his first dance with his mom. Both mothers share touching & intamte speeches that bring guest to tears. The guest have dinner & dance the night away!

Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Paniagua!
